"Adaptive rowing", as I have learned, is a very general, broad topic, which is why I have decided that I need a much more narrow area of focus. Or, in the terms of our archaeology analogy, smaller x- and y-coordinates. Closing in on a more focused subject will allow me to really dig deep and research more effectively.
From what I have heard from my contacts at CRI (Community Rowing Inc.), the equipment used for adaptive rowers is a bit of a problem, especially for elite rowers. I hope to focus my paper on the problems adaptive equipment causes, the injuries that may arise from these issues, and proposed solutions.
