Starting the Dig

This past week, after defining the direction and purpose of my research with my "Big Three," I have begun wading my way through the resources of the internet and the library to find answers. I broke up my question into smaller ones that I think are easier to tackle. This makes digging and organizing the information that I find much easier. Here are the questions that I have come up with so far and have started to look into:
What is the history of paralympic rowing? (This I may use as part of a hook)
What is adaptive rowing? (Background)
In what ways are prosthetics compatible and helpful in paralympic sports?
How can engineering and design be used to improve adaptive athletic equipment?
Does new tehnology create an unfair advantage for competitors who can afford to use it AND/OR can we make technology that is affordable and feasible for all competitors?
Some of these questions are obviously going to require more digging than others, such as the last two. However, I hope to find solid information backing my responses to all of these questions by the end of my research, which will hopefully be done by late march.
I am also hoping to get down to CRI (Community Rowing Inc.) soon to talk to some of their adaptive rowers and the directors of the program. Interviewing them will be a great resource for first-hand information.
